This Privacy Policy covers two related apps published by Rig Floor Tech, based in Germany ("we", "us", "our", the "Developer"):

It is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, state privacy legislation in the United States (including CCPA/CPRA), and equivalent privacy laws in other regions where the apps are distributed worldwide.

Neither app collects, stores, transmits, sells, or shares any of the following, whether directly or through a third party:
The only information either app keeps is stored locally on your own device, using your device's standard local storage mechanism, and is never transmitted anywhere: your selected language and unit system (US/Metric), and up to 10 recent calculation results per calculator, saved automatically so you can refer back to them during a shift. You can erase this at any time via the app's "Clear All" history control, your device's app-storage settings, or by uninstalling the app.
Neither Mud Engineer Pro nor Mud Engineer Lite contains any advertising. The apps do not use Google AdMob or any other advertising network, do not show ads, and do not share any device or advertising identifiers with advertisers or any third party.
Both apps process no personal data as defined under GDPR Art. 4(1), so no legal basis under Art. 6 is required. The limited local-only storage described in Section 2 occurs solely on your own device under your own control and is not transmitted to the Developer in either app.
Because we hold no personal data about you for either app, most data-subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection under GDPR Art. 15–21) have nothing to act on. The local preferences and saved history described in Section 2 are entirely under your control on your own device and can be cleared at any time from within the app or your device settings. For any privacy question, contact us at mudengineerpro.tech@outlook.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
Both apps are professional engineering reference tools intended for drilling fluid engineers and related industry professionals. They are not directed at children, and in any event, we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13 (or under 16/18 depending on jurisdiction), in either app.
Not applicable to either app — no data is transmitted anywhere. All processing happens locally on your own device.
Neither app uses cookies, web beacons, mobile advertising IDs, or any similar tracking technology.
Neither app integrates any third-party analytics, advertising, or cloud services. If you download either app through an app store (Apple App Store, Google Play, or another distributor), that store's own privacy policy governs the purchase/download transaction itself — this Privacy Policy covers only the apps' own behavior after installation.
Local preferences and saved calculation history (Section 2) remain on your device until you clear them or uninstall the app, in both apps. We hold no copy of this data and cannot retrieve, back up, or delete it on your behalf, since it never reaches us.
Because no calculation data leaves your device in either app, the primary risk surface is your own device's security, which remains your responsibility (e.g., device passcode, OS updates). We do not operate any server or database that could be breached in connection with either app.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect a new feature or a change in law. The "Last updated" date above will be revised accordingly. Material changes will be reflected in the version of this document distributed with a new app update.
